La comarca de la garrotxa, amb 52.834 habitants, té des d’avui mateix, un nou diari informatiu, de periodicitat setmanal. Des d’aquest, és tractaran temes socials, polítics, culturals i d’esports. Sota el títol de “laGarrotxa”, i dirigit per Jaume Cifuentes, el nou setmanari garrotxí, sortirà de moment, de forma gratuïta.
